The history of Taiwan Milky Oolong tea dates back to the Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD). According to legend, an unwary farmer discovered a tea plantation which he neglected for years. When he finally returned, the leaves were already covered with a white coating. This coating was formed by the morning mist that swept over the plantation, imparting an incomparably sweet flavor to the tea leaves. Since then, this tea has been prized as a special delicacy in Taiwan.
